COP24 - United Nations Climate Change Conference in Katowice, Poland

COP24 - The 24th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will take place on 3–14 December in Katowice, Poland. The event will be attended by nearly 30,000 delegates from all over the world including heads of government and environmental officials in charge of environmental and climate issues. Mongolian delegations to the COP24 include the representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affair, Ministry of Energy and city Municipality office of Mongolia.


The plan for the COP24 summit is to adopt a full package implementing the Paris Agreement. The Agreement is the first international agreement in history, which compels all countries in the world to take action on climate protection. The implementation package will allow for the implementation of the Agreement in practice. It will thus set global climate and energy policy for the coming years.
