The Climate Change Research and Cooperation Centre under the Ministry of Environment and Tourism organized a workshop on “Climate Finance and Green Climate Fund” on the 10th of March 2022.

During the workshop, discussions about updating priority projects aimed for achieving Mongolia’s Nationally Determined Contributions in collaboration with GCF and its accredited entities were held with representatives of environmental and social sectors.

Around 50 representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Ministry of Energy, Energy Regulatory Commission, Bank of Mongolia, Financial Regulatory Commission, Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, National Renewable Energy Center, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Geography and Geo Ecology, Mongolian University of Science and Technology, UNDP and non-governmental organizations.
